DANBURITE: The color of Danburite is almost always white or transparent, but some specimens can be yellow, pink, or brown. The Danburite crystals are transparent or translucent, with a characteristic glassy shine. One of the highest vibration minerals currently found, Danburite “connects the heart of the mind with the mind of the heart".

DUMORTIERITE: Dumortierite quartz is a very rarer variety of the quartz. It is a fibrous variably colored aluminium boro-silicate mineral. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic system typically forming slender prismatic crystals. The crystals are vitreous and vary in color from blue, brown and green to very rare violet and pink. It has a Mohs hardness of 7.
Although quartz can occur in a wide range of colors, blue colored quartz is surprisingly quite rare. The traces of dumortierite are responsible for its distinct color, which can range from light to dark blue and in some cases reddish-brown.
Dumortierite is a throat chakra crystal but it can also help stimulate communication between the higher and lower chakras. It’s rich blue tone will induce relaxation, tranquility and a simple feeling of harmony. Dumortierite is a very spiritual crystal. Dumortierite is a wonderful crystal for centering the self, calming extreme emotional responses, and focusing mental energies. A WORD ABOUT EMERALDS AND THE ONES USED IN ALL MY CRYSTAL KITS: Emerald, the green variety of Beryl, is the most famous and valuable green gemstone. Its beautiful green color, combined with durability and rarity, make it one of the most expensive gemstones. Deep green is the most desired color in Emeralds. In general the paler the color of an Emerald, the lesser its value. Very pale colored stones are not called Emeralds but rather "Green Beryl". They are sometimes heat treated, which causes their color to turn blue and transform into Aquamarine. Emeralds are notorious for their flaws. Flawless stones are very uncommon, and are noted for their great value. Some actually prefer Emeralds with minute flaws over flawless Emeralds, as this proves authenticity. Flaws are often hidden by treating the Emeralds with oil or synthetic lubricants, and this is a common practice in the industry. The traditional treatment for emerald is oiling with cedar oil. Cedar oil is a natural product from cedar trees and is colorless, viscous and very sticky. Though Colombian Emeralds have traditionally been the highest quality Emeralds with the finest green color. Many Emerald fakes and doublets are known. Two pale colored stones may be glued together with a deep green paste, creating a stone resembling Emerald. Faceted green glass also resembles Emerald, and it may be coated with a hard substance to mask its low hardness. Synthetic Emeralds are also sold to unwary buyers without them knowing the stone is synthetic. Experts can distinguish all these fakes, and it is especially important to only purchase Emeralds from reliable dealers. Experts can also determine if an Emerald was treated with oil or a lubricant to mask internal flaws.
When it comes to the Emeralds I use in all my crystal Designs, you will find three types. Unsearch Emeralds straight from the mine, inclusions visible within the matrix, typically darker colors. Then you will see rough natural Emeralds. They are 100% natural, but they come with a lot more *impurities* and darker visible spots and by that I mean, they have not been cleaned or treated in any way, they don't have the same brightness and shine as the ones that have been cleaned and treated. By treatment we mean, a oil cedar treatment, to bring out their bright green color. You can be confident that ALL the Emeralds I include in my crystals design kits or that you will find on my website are 100% natural and REAL.
EPIDOTE: Epidote is from the greek word "epidosis" meaning additional or increase. Epidote is a stone of attraction in accordance with one’s highest good. Epidote amplifies one’s natural attraction for things and situations. If one’s intentions are filled with love and generosity, then Epidote will bring more of this energy into one’s life. If you are struggling with negative thoughts and consequences, Epidote will also bring more of this energy and situations into one’s life until a dynamic change occurs for the highest good.
Epidote is helpful in overcoming habitual negativity, hopelessness, and other destructive emotional patterns. It helps to reveal the emotional core of the densities so one may transform one’s thoughts, words, and actions to reflect an enlightened and positive experience. Epidote may help those who feel stuck in their current reality, to create movement and a willingness to pursue their dreams.
